An Amusing Story

So today I took the train, as usual, to study Chinese. I seem to have an unusually high number of mishaps on the train. Anyway, just as I was about to buy a ticket, the train pulled into the station and the station worker beckoned me to get on. However, as I was right in the middle the doors closed on me. I managed to squeeze through but my bag was caught in the middle. The guy tried to open them, but he couldn't. So I rode from 三坑 to 八堵 with my bag caught in the middle of the doors. It was really embarrassing, but at least nothing fell out.

News shows here ran video from a train station surveillance camera in South Korea, showing a woman whose baby stroller (with baby in it) got stuck in the train doors. Then the train started moving. Another woman ran up, helped get the baby out of the stroller, and set the kid on the ground, but in the meantime the mom had somehow become entangled with the stroller and was dragged out of the frame. I understand there was a happy ending to the whole thing, but it did make me wonder about those trains.
